What is the "Slow down on errors" setting?
Features & Capabilities
"Slow down on errors" is a toggle in Refresh Settings that lets the Cardamon Amazon Relay tool back off automatically when Amazon starts returning rate-limit errors. Instead of hammering the load board at the same speed, it eases up until things recover.
How it works:
- When Amazon returns a rate-limit error, the refresher doubles the wait between refreshes.
- The wait keeps doubling on repeated errors, capped at 30 seconds.
- As soon as requests succeed again, it snaps back to your normal delay.
- Off by default — turn it on if you see frequent throttling.
When to use it: if you run very fast refresh rates and notice the load board returning errors or stalling, enabling "Slow down on errors" keeps your session healthy and helps your Amazon Relay automation behave more naturally under pressure.
