What is the "Slow down on errors" setting?

Features & Capabilities

Slow Down on Errors

"Slow down on errors" is a toggle in Refresh Settings that lets the Cardamon Amazon Relay tool back off automatically when Amazon starts returning rate-limit errors. Instead of hammering the load board at the same speed, it eases up until things recover.

How it works:
  • When Amazon returns a rate-limit error, the refresher doubles the wait between refreshes.
  • The wait keeps doubling on repeated errors, capped at 30 seconds.
  • As soon as requests succeed again, it snaps back to your normal delay.
  • Off by default. Turn it on if you see frequent throttling.

When to use it: if you run very fast refresh rates and the load board starts returning errors or stalling, turn this on. Backing off until Amazon recovers keeps your session working.
