How does Relay Assistant (Auto-Negotiation) work?
Features & Capabilities
Relay Assistant is the auto-negotiation feature in Relay Autobooker Cardamon. When Amazon Relay opens its negotiation chatbot on a load, the extension detects it and sends your pre-written negotiation argument for you, so you can push for a higher payout without typing a word.
How it works:
- Amazon Relay sometimes shows the Relay Assistant chatbot during booking
- The extension detects when the Relay Assistant button appears on screen
- Stops the automation to avoid conflicts
- Clicks the chatbot button to open the negotiation dialog
- Sends your pre-written negotiation argument to the Assistant
- Adds the initial payout in the latest chat message from the Assistant
- Pastes the same message again into the chat input field without sending it, so you can send it again if needed
- When the Assistant increases the price compared to its first response, the extension detects it
- If Fast Confirm is enabled, press the "Auto Confirm" button to book the load on the spot
- Plays an audio alert when the Assistant is detected
How to turn it on:
- Check the "Relay Assistant" checkbox
- Type your negotiation argument in the request input field
- Example: "Need higher rate due to bad weather conditions like heavy rains, traffic congestion on ghat roads, toll increases, or driver salary increases due to driver shortage."
- Click START
- When Relay Assistant appears, the extension sends your argument
What triggers Relay Assistant?
Amazon Relay may show Relay Assistant when:
- Special load opportunities with negotiation potential
- Loads where Amazon is willing to increase the payout
- Rate negotiation scenarios where they need drivers
Best for: Negotiating rate increases on special loads. The extension sends your pre-written argument the moment the chatbot opens, faster than you could type it.
Pro Tip: Keep your negotiation argument short and specific. Example: "Need higher rate due to bad weather conditions like heavy rains, traffic congestion on ghat roads, toll increases, or driver salary increases due to driver shortage." Name real costs; skip the fluff.
