Is an Amazon Relay autobooker worth it?
Guides & Tips
An autobooker is worth it if you run Amazon Relay loads regularly and keep losing them to faster bookers. Relay Autobooker Cardamon Premium costs $49.99 per month, and if it catches one load a month you would have missed, it has likely paid for itself. Occasional Relay users can stay on the free Smart Refresher tier.
What does manual booking on Amazon Relay cost you?
Booking by hand means sitting at the load board, refreshing, and trying to out-click other drivers and other bots. Good loads can vanish seconds after posting, sometimes within milliseconds. You also cannot watch the board while you drive, fuel up, or sleep, and loads keep posting through all of it.
An autobooker works at machine speed. The Super Fast booking strategy in Relay Autobooker Cardamon reacts in roughly 100-150 milliseconds. A person has to spot the load, read the payout, and click, and by then the load is often gone.
How much does Premium cost?
$49.99 per month, or $499 per year, which saves about 17%. That covers automatic booking and confirmation, three booking strategies (Regular at around 1000 ms, Fast at around 300 ms, Super Fast at around 100-150 ms), the Max Stops, Stem Time, and minimum payout increase filters, and Relay Assistant auto-negotiation. The pricing page has the full breakdown.
When does an autobooker pay for itself?
Run the math against your own lanes. Compare $49.99 with what one load on your usual routes pays. If the booker grabs one load a month that you would have missed while driving or sleeping, the subscription has likely covered itself. Two such loads and you are ahead.
Treat that as a conditional. No tool can promise it, and no autobooker catches every load: you are still racing other drivers, and your internet speed and filter settings matter. The tool changes two things: reaction time and coverage. It watches the board around the clock and clicks faster than a hand on a mouse.
Who does not need Premium?
- Occasional Relay users. If you book a couple of loads a month, the free Smart Refresher keeps the board fresh while you click yourself. It costs nothing and stays free.
- Drivers on contract freight. If a dispatcher books your loads, or most of your work comes from dedicated lanes, board speed is not your bottleneck.
- iPhone and iPad users. The extension runs on Chrome for Windows and macOS, and on Android through Kiwi Browser. It does not run on iOS.
How do you decide without risking money?
Premium comes with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime. A practical test:
- Install the extension and run the free Smart Refresher for a few days to see how the board moves on your lanes.
- Start the trial in a week when you are booking anyway. Set your Max Stops and Stem Time filters, then let it run.
- Compare what you booked against a normal week. If the numbers do not work, cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
The extension has been in development since 2020, and the current version is 11.12, so you are testing a tool that still gets updates.
Zero-risk way to decide: the free tier costs nothing, and the 7-day trial lets you measure Premium against your own booking results before any money leaves your account. Payments run through Paddle, and you can cancel anytime.
